About Us - RasKonop

Who Are We?

RasKonop is more than an initiative – it is a movement that revitalizes villages with vision, knowledge, and love. It was born as a response to decades of village decline, agricultural degradation, and growing dependence on imports. We combine innovation and tradition, science and faith, economy and community – creating a model that not only produces food but builds relationships, trust, and a new future.

Our Mission

Our mission is threefold: to renew villages, provide healthy food, and build food independence. On 75% of arable land, cooperatives produce vegetables and other crops following strict Jovanjica standards. On the remaining 25%, industrial hemp is grown – well-paid, registered, and under constant technological and advisory support. This model, unlike any before, allows farmers to be respected, stable, and economically independent.

Why RasKonop?

• Farmers have a partner for the first time who organizes, purchases, and oversees the entire process.
• Investors receive a share in economic growth and participate in village renewal.
• Consumers get verified, safe products of the highest standards.
• The people gain new jobs, reduced inflation, and increased GDP.

How Does It Work?

• Hemp as financial backbone: Grown on 25% of land, purchased at premium prices with material and advisory support from the Jovanjica group. This provides the Jovanjica farmer with support, a kind of subsidy, ensuring his production is self-sustainable.
• Food by Jovanjica standards: Production on the remaining 75% under expert supervision – from seed to packaging and final product on shelves.
• Investment with purpose: Investing in Ras2 means direct support to domestic production, with returns that have both economic and moral value. Following fair profit distribution principles, we ensure greater transparency. The 30-30-30-10 distribution, where the farmer – Jovanjica as processor and market provider – and investor each get 30%, offers a sustainable and fair relationship among participants, while 10% goes to SSVUB as a guarantee for crop and investment security.

SSVUB – Service for Quality and Support

An independent partner company founded to ensure quality control, application of international standards, and expert support in all production stages from sowing to packaging and further in the market. It builds its role on professionalism, responsibility, and full transparency in cooperation with all system participants. What does it do? The SSVUB team consists of agronomists, technologists, quality control experts, and educators. Their tasks include:
• Monitoring and controlling all production and processing stages,
• Conducting certification according to internationally recognized standards: GMP, GACP, Organic, GlobalG.A.P, ISO 9001,
• Providing constant field and technical support to producers,
• Organizing insurance for crops and processing processes. How does it operate? SSVUB is financed solely from its own profits, meaning it does not burden producers but works in the interest of overall system efficiency and quality. Its work model is based on mutual trust and shared profit. Benefits for the system:
• Cost reduction through centralized services and process optimization,
• Guaranteed traceability and trust in every plot, crop, and product,
• Easier export thanks to standards opening doors to demanding markets,
• Sustainability and ethics in production approach, respecting natural resources and protecting future generations’ interests. Why is it important? SSVUB integrates control, knowledge, and systemic support into a unified whole, serving as a foundation of trust in the entire model. Its role is practical, not bureaucratic, aimed at ensuring every participant, from cooperative to investor, has a reliable foundation in the process that builds quality, safety, and profitability.

Jovanjica Standard

What is the Jovanjica standard? A unique, holistic standard that enhances all known agro and food norms – adding ethical, spiritual, and community dimensions. Its core values are love for people, faith, community, and land. Key features:
• Enhanced control: Higher requirements than legal ones are respected.
• Spiritual ethos: The standard is based on Orthodox values but is open to all.
• Authenticity: Each product has traceability, value, and soul. Control of input raw materials:
• Seeds: exclusively ours, intended for multiplication and preservation in monasteries on Mount Athos.
• Inputs: exclusively organic, recorded and controlled.
• Packaging: environmentally friendly, technically and aesthetically above standards.

Organized Production and Economic Impact

Investors seeking a systemic, verifiable, and developmentally relevant model have finally found an investment opportunity fitting their needs.
• Currently, we need approximately 1500 cooperatives to produce quantities for existing customers, and we believe this number will grow over time with market expansion.
• 25% of land for hemp, 75% for vegetable crops.
• Jovanjica group provides: purchase, logistics, technology, processing, distribution. Economic effects:
• 450 million euros – direct gross income. This income is generated solely by the planned 1500 cooperatives – Serbian farmers participating for the first time in recent history in the value chain not as cheap labor, but as equal stakeholders.
• Significant impact on GDP growth – direct effect of our cooperatives’ and processors’ incomes on the economy. Indirect effects: employment, processing, export, logistics. This model brings income to people, retains and returns them to villages, revitalizes households, and elevates farmers’ reputation as reliable producers of organic and innovative products.
